Under the Sea

Throughout this half term, Reception have been exploring the topic of 'Under the Sea'. Whilst learning about this topic we have been reading fiction and non-fiction books to understand all aspects of sea life. 

Our favourite so far has been 'Sharing a Shell' by Julia Donaldson. The children have been regularly looking through this book independently and can sequence and retell the story in the role play area. 

Maci - "This book is my favourite because the anemone is my favourite colour." 

KJ - "I like that they are friends in the end." 

Matteo - "I love that they share."
