Mythical gods, monsters and mortals!

Throughout this half term, Year 5 have been reading an amazing encyclopedia of gods, monsters and mortals from Ancient Greece entitled Mythologica! This fascinating book features exquisite portraits of mythological characters using bright, vibrant colours. 

The children in year 5 have really enjoyed getting to know all about the different mythological creatures from Ancient Greece, each with their own unique characteristics and personalities. We have compared the different creatures and used our retrieval and inference skills to learn all about them.
