Art
Our Art and design curriculum is designed so as to engage, inspire and challenge pupils so as to develop not only their artistic skills but also their creativity. Our curriculum is planned through thematic and question led approaches. Art and design may be taught as blocked units for some year groups so as to ensure children can experience purposeful activities through experimenting and creating a range of artefacts and images.
Our curriculum is skills based and allows for children to develop skills in an age and stage appropriate fashion whilst allowing them the opportunities to challenge themselves to developing progressively more difficult skills in different areas of art and design.
