Ancient Greece

This half term in 5BC our History topic has been all about Ancient Greece. As part of our learning, we have been researching all about how the Ancient Greeks lived, their beliefs and the amazing inventions and traditions they created that still exist today.

We have used Chromebooks to do research on the internet and read all about favourite facts relating to Ancient Greece. The children were eager to find out more about life in Athens during Ancient Greece, the origin of the Olympic Games and read more about the Greek Gods and Goddesses. 

Edward - "I enjoyed reading more about the origin of the Olympic Games and why they first started."

Luna - "My favourite fact about Zeus is that he is the most powerful Greek God and he lived on the biggest mountain in Greece, Mount Olympus."

Sem - "I read all about life in Athens during Ancient Greece and how men and women were treated differently."
