Nursery: Jack and the Beanstalk

In Nursery, we are enjoying reading the traditional tale of Jack and the Beanstalk.

We have talked about the features of the story and what a book looks like. We are able to identify the words and pictures in a book!

In our Talk for Writing sessions, we have been describing the giant from the story.

We have been busy taking part in different activities relating to the story we have been painting pictures of the giant in our creative area, making shape castles in our maths area, sequencing the story in the reading area and enjoyed our story tuff tray.

Hudson said, “The giant is big and scary!”

Maci said, “He is very tall!”
