Extra Curricular

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are sorry to inform you that the school cannot implement the usual range of extra curricular activities until further notice.

This includes for the foreseeable future that no breakfast club will be able to be facilitated.

Breakfast club:

Breakfast club starts at 8:15am. Children are able to select a variety of cereals, toast, fresh fruit and drinks. The cost of breakfast club is: 75p for a drink and breakfast.

You need to pre-book these sessions in advance.

During this 30-minute session, children are encouraged to eat all of their breakfast and to socialise with friends and peers using a variety of activities that children can self-select.

Due to staffing limitations, if there are any behavioural issues during this time, children may be asked to come in at the normal time. Parents will always be informed of the reasons why children may not be able to attend breakfast club. These arrangements will always be temporary so that appropriate risk assessments can be made if necessary, and support put in for the child.

Pre-school and after school clubs:

From September 2017, some children within KS2 will be invited to join pre-school activities. These children are selected on the basis of an identified need which may include: Gifted and Talented, children requiring a boost to a specific learning, or children who may benefit from some 1:1 time. These sessions will run from 7:45 until 8:15. Children who are asked to attend these sessions are expected to attend regularly or their place may be allocated to another child. More information regarding these groups will be given to specific families in September 2017.
