Sports Premium Spending 19-20
The sports premium allocation for our school for this academic year is £10,617.00
This money does not cover our expenditure on PE this academic year, which totals £28,717.00. However our sports premium has been used to contribute to buying PE resources and the erection of new outdoor play equipment.
PE resources cost £2869.20 and support the replenishment of lunchtime play equipment, so that all children can participate in a range of outdoor activities.
The PE resources included in the above amount are for the purchasing of new sports equipment, so that we can implement the new games scheme of work, during PE sessions.
Governors also agreed that our new circuit training course on the back playground could be purchased using some of our sports premium so that all Key Stage Two classes can access purposeful physical activity on a rota at lunchtimes.
The impact of this spending will be reviewed using the following success criteria:
- Are all children accessing and participating in dance, gymnastics and games activities in a purposeful and challenging way according to our PE scheme of work, with the exception of Year 4 who will attend swimming and therefore for this academic year forego dance.
- Are all Key Stage Two children accessing opportunities to broaden their physical activities using the outdoor apparatus, (Circuit training)?
- Have all children been motivated and had the opportunity to participate in a range of physical activities.
An impact Review Statement for Sports premium spending 19-20 will be evaluated at the end of this academic year in July 2020.
